Description

This Greek Feta Dip is a creamy, tangy, and flavorful Mediterranean-inspired appetizer. Made with whipped feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, and lemon juice, it’s perfect for dipping pita chips, fresh vegetables, or spreading on sandwiches. Quick to make and bursting with fresh flavors, this dip is great for parties, snacks, or a light meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz. feta cheese (block, not crumbled)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 (8-oz.) block cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Juice & zest of 1 lemon
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped, plus extra for garnish)
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup chopped cucumber
  • ½ cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • Whole grain pita chips (for serving)

Instructions

  • Blend the Base: In a food processor, combine feta cheese, Greek yogurt, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, and zest. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Season the Dip: Add salt, dill, and crushed red pepper flakes. Blend again until well incorporated. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Assemble the Dip: Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle with chopped cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, fresh dill, and drizzle with extra olive oil.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Pair with pita chips, fresh veggies, or warm pita bread.

Notes

  • Use block feta for the best texture—pre-crumbled feta won’t blend as smoothly.
  • Let the dip sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving to enhance flavors.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
